Youth Wing Productions

We have a number of specific Youth Wing productions each year, in addition to the regular ACP season. Each fall, we have a show in the Bechtel Experimental Theatre (BET) that can range from classics such as Tale of Two Cities to issues facing our young people, like school violence or bullying. December sees a holiday show that we take out into the community. Our Mainstage stage production happens in February, and our annual Broadway & Beyond Gala educational fundraiser happens later in the spring. Our seniors put together their own Senior Showcase later in the spring, and early summer is the time for our Garden Theatre children's show.

Assembled for Sports Day, the animals cannot find anybody to compete with the fleet hare in the cross-country race until the slow-moving tortoise agrees to the race. In the course of the race, the scatter-brained hare tends to get diverted by encounters with members of the human race. Meanwhile, the tortoise plods steadily and relentlessly on to the finish line.
